This year marks new beginnings for the community of William Ruthven Secondary College, who have finally achieved the goal of moving into new buildings and facilities.
These new buildings complement both our academic direction and provide a learning environment which our students and staff deserve.
In what was a very eventful first day for 2019, our students and staff were inducted into our new buildings with a Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony conducted by a representative of the Wurundjeri people, who are the traditional owners of the land on which our school is built.
