Our Year 11 VCAL students completed their long-anticipated MasterChef cook this week.
Students created the recipes after an inspiring culinary excursion early in Term 2. Under the expert stewardship of Mr. Dibben and Nadia and sous-chefs, Franca and Mr. Guest, the Year 11 chefs-for-a-day infused the William Ruthven campus with delicious scents of veggie burgers, pizzas, bolognese, steak, garlic-prawn skewers and a three-hour roasted pork loin.
There were desserts aplenty as well; many were so appealing they were eaten before the mains!
