Last week our students organised a very fitting tribute to recognise and remember the loss of their dear friend
Christos Denny.
Our very brave students challenged WRSC teachers to a soccer match, followed by afternoon tea.
Year 12 students wore red and white, the colours of Christos’s favourite team, and defeated the teachers 2 goals to 1, with one of Christos’s good mates David kicking the winning goal right before the siren – just as Christos had done a year ago.
It was a moving and appropriate way to remember Christos and will certainly be an inaugural event in his honour.
