If school is all about preparing students for a safe and productive life in the workplace and community, then our year 12 VCAL course is kicking goals.

Our students have begun the year by examining and writing about a range of potential risk-taking behaviours as well as the obligations of employers in terms of providing a safe workplace, free of sexual harassment.

This work has culminated in the students attending the Old Melbourne Gaol for two interactive workshops on the legal and social dangers of sexting and reckless driving.

Our students took on all the roles in the court, from judges, prosecutors, defence barristers, expert witnesses, and even the accused.

It was a wonderful opportunity for some very engaging learning.
