School home

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Following the announcement by the Minister for Education schools will transition to remote learning for Term 2. Therefore we will need to put in place our remote learning plans for the majority of our students.
The staff have been working hard to ensure minimal disruption to your child’s education and I am certain that over time our plans will evolve and change. Please feel confident that we will endeavour to do our best for your child and their education, but of course safety for all of us is paramount in this unprecedented time.
All students will be learning from home, except for students who cannot be supervised by parents/guardians who are essential workers and vulnerable students identified by the school. If you are an essential worker who is not able to work from home can you please contact the school via e-mail william.ruthven.sc@edumail.vic.gov.au. This will allow the school to make the appropriate staffing arrangements.
The learning program delivered on-site will be the same as the learning program delivered to students undertaking remote learning. Students learning on-site will be supervised by a teacher, to follow the teaching and learning program provided by their classroom teacher on compass.

As the DET releases further details we will continue to keep you  informed. Please be patient and understanding as this is a unique situation for us all.
