RossHuggard

Year 12 was privileged to have the opportunity to have speaker and highly experienced Year 12 English assessor Ross Huggard come to talk to us about the English course they will be completing this year.

Ross was able to give the students a better understanding of the study design they will be following this year and discussed the skills and language that examiners look for in assessments. He was able to help our students dissect the underlying intentions and context of their assigned novel Station Eleven.

Ross also spoke about the importance of English as a subject not only in the classroom but also in our students’ future.

His presentation explored the competitiveness of VCE and the tips that are able to help our students write to the best of their abilities under the high pressures of VCE.

We are very appreciative to have had his insight as our Year 12 students go into their final year of high school.
