This term nine lucky Year 7 students have been working with our new friend Ziggy the dog and his trainer Jim from Canine Comprehension.
Ziggy and Jim have been visiting us once a week to talk with us about anxiety, the struggles associated with coming into Year 7 and how we can work better at school, in class and at home.
At every session, Ziggy has been the centre of attention and has been lapping up our students’ hugs and pats. We’re working on teaching Ziggy to jump through a hoop! Lucky we have five weeks to go of this fantastic program – more updates to come!
