Last night almost 200 people braved the rain to attend our 2017 Showcase.

It started at 5pm with school work from a variety of curriculum areas being displayed in our Learning Centre.

Year 8 Inquiry students presented their Passion Projects and people were invited to guess the amount of lollies in the jar (1007 to be precise!)

Our recently recorded transition video was shown to start the proceedings in the gym before the music students took over and thoroughly entertained the audience.

There were music and dance performances from students in years 7-11 and our school captains were on hand to MC the evening.

Everyone who attended would agree there were many hidden talents on show, with the highlight of the evening being an enchanting performance of Halo performed by Sophie and Samia of Year 8.

Despite a couple of technical glitches due to the weather it was an incredibly successful evening.

Well done to everyone involved and a big thank you to all of the staff and students who assisted with the preparations and running of the night.

A big congratulations and thank you to the Instrumental Music Staff and Miss Allan who coordinated the event.
